About

Eenkai is born from what stays.

Vol. I begins with the reason Eenkai exists. I have travelled all my life, lived in many places, moved through shifting landscapes and languages yet certain elements remained constant. The scent of Spanish jasmine gajras drifting from my childhood backyard. My Tamizh roots, vast banana fields. The Western Ghats in the distance with monkeys that wandered in freely. The enduring rhythm of the sun and the moon and the human search for balance they silently represent. These memories became my anchor.

Over time, I felt an urge to translate them into jewellery that belongs to today’s world.

Pieces that carry where they come from without being bound by it. Jewellery that can be worn with pride, with ease, with intention. A personal archive of what stayed, shaped into contemporary forms that hold ancient and future in the same breath.

Eenkai is a piece of India I am from. Each piece is created in small batches, with care and clarity, honouring process as much as product.

From India, to the world.
Quietly and consciously.
Made in small batches.

Started by Poornima Parvathy, Eenkai is an extension of practice of observing, building and refining. After running a furniture design studio and working in User Experience, she now turns her lens to handcrafted jewellery bringing with her a sensitivity to form, proportion and human connection.
